Tools To Help Your Business

Here is a list of the software I like to assist with Social Media and Internet Marketing. (Apart from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc)

I use all these products and I am not just promoting them as I get affiliate love from some of them. (I.e a tiny sprinkle of beer money.)

They work for my business and I wouldn’t be where I am with out them.

SEO Partner by James Schramko

What it does

It lift the search engine ranking of your websites.

Why I like it

•  It provides good value for money.
• It has a defined scope of work for the money you spend.
• You get reports of what has been done.
• They focus on quality improvement themselves, relaunching better packages to get better results.

 

 

MindSwiper App for iPad by Anthony Idle

What it does

This is an app available from the itunes store that guides the user through an end of week review process called a “Mind Swipe”.

Why I like it

The benefit of doing this process is that

• You know you have all your loose ends tied up,
• You are clear on your priorities and goals and
• You know you are working optimally.

That means you can be super effective next week and have a great weekend now! (& Work Life Balance)

PS This app isn’t in good shape at present. (Got ripped off by a subcontractor on ODesk.) More development coming ..

 

Survey Monkey

What it does

Survey Monkey is an online survey creation, distribution and analysis tool.

Why I like it

It lets you ask your customers how your customer service is and you can see trends over time.

It’s easy to use and integrates with Facebook.

 

MailChimp

What it does

Creates easy email newsletters for clients. (Autoresponder).

Why I like it

• It’s free for less than 2000 emails a month.
• It’s got easy integration with other tools on this page.
• It’s brand is funky and fun.

HooteSuite

What it does

It allows me to write once and publish to many social media networks at once.

I can also auto publish a bed of content from RSS feeds or an imported spreadsheet list of tweets.

Why I like it

• Massive leverage of content.
• Publishing lets me be free to market without spending too much time on Social Media.

What it does

Um Everything Important…

• Keyword Tracking
• Keyword research
• Content Research, Publishing and Promotion.

Why I like it

• It is a case of life before and after using this product.
• The video tutorial library is world class training.
• The guys have great ethics and I’d say are enlightened millionaires.

Optimizepress by James Dyson

What it does

This is a theme system for creating pages on WordPress websites.

Why I like it

I can’t describe it as a template system because it isn’t but it does include templates.

It allows me to create good looking pages with very high functionality.

This is a way of getting better interaction and user experience with my website.

ECover Creator 3D by James Dyson

What it does

It creates pictures of Ebooks and CD / DVD covers that you can insert into your product sales pages.

Why I like it

This makes an intangible product like information seem tangible.

That means we feel a bit better about our purchases with more credibility and less remorse.

What it does

Protects the intellectual property rights for the content I create and put behind a members area.

Why I like it

• Good integration with Optimizepress.
• Good Value for money.
• Great technical support.
